There is Allegri behind De Sciglio’s decision to join Juventus
Italy winger defender Mattia De Sciglio has revealed the reason for choosing Juventus as his new club. De Sciglio wants to reunite with coach Massimiliano Allegri who always gives him confidence.
Juventus bring De Sciglio from AC Milan in the transfer market then. The Bianconeri bought it for 15 million euros. The 24-year-old signed a five-season contract.
In Turin, De Sciglio returns to meet Allegri, who has coached him in Milan. Allegri is the coach who orbit De Sciglio to the Rossoneri main team.
“It was important for me to rejoin Allegri, he showed great confidence in me in Milan, even though I was very young, he let me work calmly,” De Sciglio told JTV.
“Why Juve? Because this is the top team in Italy and in Europe, a team where I have to give everything in practice for a place in the first team,” De Sciglio added.
De Sciglio has so far not yet debuted with Juventus in Serie A. The Bianconeri themselves now sit top of the table with six points. They are ahead of goal difference over AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli and Sampdoria.
